My wife and I had a fantastic meal at Ashraf’s on Saturday, 17th May. From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding – welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. We started with the poppadums and chutney platter, which was amazing. The mixed pickle dip in particular was packed with flavour and stood out as a highlight. The lady serving suggested trying some with our rice for our main course, wow, a game changer For our mains, we had the Chicken Chattinad and Chicken Chasni – both dishes were fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. A great mix of spice and richness without being too heavy. All in all, a brilliant experience. Highly recommend Ashraf’s for anyone looking for delicious food and top-class service. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow! This place is amazing! I am sorry I didn't take photos of the dishes we had, because they were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! We had the Mango Kalen, Madrasi Garlic Masala, and Bhindi Dopiaza. They were all amazing, but if we had to pick just one, the Mango Kalen would be the winner. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, and the service was superb (special thanks to the young man who was so attentive and interested in who we were and how we made it to their establishment!). Highly recommend!

We recently celebrated a birthday at Ashraf’s Indian Kitchen and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond to look after us. We were a party of 40 in total, and even with such a large group, the service was still top notch. Everybody raved about the outstanding food and generous portion sizes, and every dish came out fresh and hot. What really stood out was the friendliness of all staff members. Their hospitality was brilliant - they went out of their way to go round and capture photos and videos of all of the guests without being asked, allowing us to look back on memories of the special night. All in all a fabulous restaurant and we’ll definitely be returning!

Ashraf's Indian Kitchen is a hidden gem! The food is incredibly authentic, especially their Kerala-style dishes, which are bursting with flavor. We tried the thattukada chilli beef, fish moilee, chicken chettinad, Calicut chicken biryani, Kerala porotta, and plain dosa—all of which were amazing. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. The taste of the dishes truly transported me back to Kerala. Can't wait to visit again! Highly recommend!

Had heard some negative reports about this place since it changed over from The Minar. Nothing to worry about. All the regular favourites cooked well and some new dishes thrown into the menu as well. Visited on a Saturday night, was busy but not full and found the service and the food to be very good.

Ordered collection for a mixed tandoori with pathia sauce, pilau rice and a naan. For 23 it was a bargain considering the amount of meat and fish came with it. Every item in the mixed tandoori was absolutely delicious! Couldn’t recommend this highly enough!!

We celebrated a 21st birthday with a dinner at Ashraf’s. The restaurant accommodated a total of 42 people in our party, which was 7 more people than we originally booked for. For such a large group of people, the chef and staff managed to serve everybody’s meals at the same time, all whilst still fresh and hot, with no drop in quality, which was really impressive. The food itself was great. Tasty, well cooked and good sized portions. The stand out of this fantastic restaurant by far though is the customer service. Having been to michelin star restaurants in London and Dubai and various other top quality restaurants around the world, I can honestly say the service in Ashraf’s was some of the most genuinely pleasant, accommodation and impressive I have ever experienced. Each of the staff members go above and beyond to make each guest feel welcome and at home. One of the staff members took the initiative to film and collate a celebratory video compilation of each of the guests wishing the birthday girl happy birthday messages, and then sent us the video the following day. The restaurant officially closes at 10pm, the staff however, not only kept the restaurant open, but also continued to serve us drinks until 12:30pm and didn’t ask us once to hurry up or leave, which is well beyond what I could ever reasonably expect or have experienced in any other restaurant. I will absolutely be back.
